Hello, my name is Phoebe.

Dr. Phoebe Ajayi is a primary care doctor in the United Kingdom. She attended medical school on a scholarship at the University of Benin, Nigeria and finished with distinctions as one of the best graduating students.

Since qualifying in 2011, Phoebe has worked in various medical and surgical specialties across secondary and tertiary centres. In 2017, she obtained the MRCS Eng (Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England) qualification. Thereafter, she began a career in General Practice aka Family Medicine. .

Phoebe is passionate about quality healthcare being accessible to all. She volunteered with Pro Health International Africa whilst in Nigeria. She regularly runs health promotion campaigns and she supports the Macmillan charity. She also volunteers with Virtual Doctors UK, a charity which provides technical and specialist support to medics in Malawi. For her work in women’s rehabilitation, she received an award from the Royal College of General Practitioners.

She writes fiction and non-fiction and is a public speaker, speaking on topics that affect physical and mental health, and how to achieve your goals.

Phoebe is married to her soulmate and they have two children together. She enjoys a good novel, running, Zumba and Pilates.
